Ann-Maree Block is the Director of See Change Dietitian and has extensive education and dietetic experience to assure you of being provided a quality service.

After achieving the top 3% in Qld at the end of school, Ann-Maree chose a career in Nutrition & Dietetics because of her strong belief in the importance of good nutrition to good health.

Ann-Maree undertook 5 years of university training to become a Dietitian. The education involved a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biochemistry and Physiology at the University of Queensland and then a Post-Graduate Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics at QUT.

25 years of experience has included lecturing at University and TAFE, a decade working in aged care and rehabilitation, GP and Specialist practices, and a career working in private practice.

In 2012, Ann-Maree volunteered in Tanzania, Africa, assisting in the health care of street children.

She achieved High Distinctions in University Course updates in Pathophysiology, Anatomy & Physiology, Health Alterations, Family Health and Cultural Safety, with the focus on Diabetes and all aspects of health and disease.

Ann-Maree was presented Professional Certification for completing the advanced module Medical Nutrition Therapy for Bariatric Surgery.

Ann-Maree has a commitment to ensuring Evidence-Based Advanced Learning and has recently gained Professional Certification in Optimising Outcomes for people with Neurological Disabilities, GLP-1 Weight Loss Medications, Bariatric Surgery and nationally approved training in Eating Disorders. She has a special interest in Parkinson’s Disease and related neurological disorders.
